The Department of Philosophy at Lund University is delighted to announce that Professor Jonathan Dancy is this year’s Pufendorf laureate. He will deliver three lectures on the topic of ‘The Metaphysics of Reasons’: May 23, May 24 and May 25. The three lectures take place 3-5 p m in C126 at LUX, Lund University.
Jonathan Dancy is currently Professor of Philosophy at University of Texas at Austin and Research Professor at the University of Reading. He previously taught for many years at the University of Keele. In 2016, he was elected fellow of the British Academy. His many influential writings span over various topics including epistemology, moral theory, and theory of action.
