I am a historian of Latin Medieval philosophy, focusing on 14th century natural philosophy and astral sciences.
I work as a researcher in the project "Aristotelian Science" (P.I. Ana María Mora-Márquez).
I am also an associated researcher at SPHERE (UMR 7219), CNRS Paris.
Since my PhD (2015), I have been working on Nicole Oresme's texts in natural philosophy and cosmology (in Middle French and in Latin). I am also interested in his legacy during the 14th and 15th centuries.
Since 2021, I also have been working on the milieu of Parisian astronomers at the turn of the13th and 14th centuries, and their epistemic norms, to evaluate their inscription into an Aristotelian framework.
I am building up a long-term research project on error in the Medieval astral sciences (its definition, identification, condemnation and correction according to the historical actors).
I am also interested in historiographical questions concerning the study of Medieval science and its transmission over time.
